Brookfield General Store & Cafe Logo and Business Card

Overview

New owners of the Brookfield General Store and Cafe wanted a logo that portrayed who they were - a general store and gourmet cafe in a small country town. They wanted a simple logo that could be embroidered on to t-shirts, printed on stickers which are used on their jars and bottles and would look good on business cards and signage. They wanted to keep the traditional 'heritage' green that has always been used. Originally the owner had the idea of using a pitch fork to symbolise rural/country. I suggested an eating fork to symbolise the cafe and leaves sprouting out of the top to symbolise the rural country feel. It felt appropriate to continue using the 'heritage green' to demonstrate how long this business had been established (1871). The business cards were printed by Tim at Westside Printing.

The Brookfield General Store and Cafe is a lovely little spot to visit, have breakfast or lunch whilst reading the local news or just chill and meet the friendly locals. Visit them at their website or their facebook page.
